Architectural Guidelines


The Princeville at Hanalei Community Association's Protective Covenants allow for a Committee dedicated to the Design Review of each property belonging to the Association. The intent of the review process is to enhance Princeville’s unique character and preserve homeowner equity. 

All exterior changes to your property require the approval of the Community Design Committee (CDC).  The CDC Administrator is available to guide all homeowners through the review and approval process.

The Design Committee meets once a month, typically on Tuesdays. All items to be reviewed must be submitted 7 days prior to the scheduled meeting date.

The meetings are generally closed to homeowners. If necessary, the architect or landscape professional will be asked to walk the committee          through the plans.
