What is Neighborhood Watch?
|
The Neighborhood Watch Program (NWP) is a strategy to prevent crime within your neighborhood by teaching citizens to become aware of the daily activities that occur around them.
By increasing awareness, residents will know when something out of the ordinary occurs and how to appropriately report the observation to the PHCA Patrol and Kauai Police Department (KPD).
NWP participants do not intervene. They only observe and report to the appropriate authorities.
